Since 19:00 on August 10th, 2025, roads leading into the park has been temporarily closed due to heavy rainfall. Access to Kamikochi is not be possible until the road closures have been lifted.
We will update our readers on the expected end to this situation as more information becomes available to us.
UPDATE on August 11th: For those returning home, please ride the bus of 11:00 until 13:00 from the Kamikochi Bus Terminal.
