Kamikochi was closed on November 15th, and there was a ceremony to show the end of climbing season. Under the snow, over 300 people gathered at Kappa-Bashi and thank for this years’ safe and pray for the next year. Tourists got hot Omiki, which is a sacred sake, and for warmth. The prefectural road to Kamikochi is closed with vehicular traffic from 16th of November to mid-April of 2013.
