Recently (06/11 and 06/15), we reported that roads granting access to Kamikochi had been temporarily closed.
The Kamikochi Park Line road will once again be temporarily closed due to heavy rainfall from 5:00 pm on June 23rd. Access to Kamikochi will not be possible until the road closures have been lifted.
For those returning home, please ride the 4:40 pm bus from the Kamikochi Bus Terminal.
We will post a new update as soon as the reopening of the roads has been officially announced.
