On June 3rd, the 66th annual Weston Festival was held in Kamikochi. About 400 climbers were gathered for a celebration of Walter Weston who introduced Japanese Alps to the world. People enjoyed songs and poetry readings to celebrate achievement of the English man who came as a missionary.
